CONSUMER LAW GROUP has filed a Canadian class action lawsuit against Nissan and Infiniti on behalf of individuals who own or lease a Nissan or Infiniti from the years 2004 to 2011.
The class action involves Nissan and Infiniti’s defective odometer which inflates the represented distance travelled by a factor of at least 2.0%. The effect of this flawed odometer is that:
• owner warranties will expire faster than they should
• the resale value of the cars will be reduced
• the allotted kilometer allowance under a lease will expire quicker causing extra mileage costs
